Def Jam recording star Amerie's forthcoming album "In Love & War" is now headed for a November release.
Confirmed via Amerie on Twitter, the "Why R U" led album has been shifted to November 3. This marks the fourth release date issued for the "1 Thing" singer, who signed with Def Jam just over a year ago, after releasing two albums under another imprint.
A new record label, album and fresh start might behind the release of Amerie's recently released mixtape "What Chu Know About Amerie".
Released last week, "What Chu Know About Amerie" features DJ Ruckus and 15-tracks, including some of Amerie's greatest hits like "1 Thing," "Why Don't We Fall In Love," "Touch" and fan favorites "Can't Let Go," "Need You Tonight" and "All I Need".

Amerie is busy gearing up for a blazing summer with the single "Why R U".
Taking time out to share the exclusive video shoot for the single, which precedes the anticipated Def Jam debut "In Love & War," Amerie calls the shoot "a lot of fun".
"We wanted to go with something abstract but not too far out there," says the former "1 Thing" and "Touch" singer.
