Beyonce’s “Video Phone” music video may be in rotation in the United States but, according to German sources it will never been seen in Germany ! Sources say the video has been pulled due to underwear manufacturer Triumph, who sued Sony because Beyoncé was wearing copyright infringing underwear in her music video “Video Phone” (as pictured). According to Triumph, the outfit Beyonce dons in the video is a blatant copy of their original design created by Iskren Lozanov. After review, the 7th Civil Chamber of the Landgericht Munich upheld an ex parte injunction barring Sony from distributing the “Video Phone” clip in Germany. While Sony countered the manufacturer’s claim, stating both designs were inspired by Picasso, the judge disagreed. c: IPkat
