Rihanna has defied the odds according to the RIAA. The pop diva’s 2009 effort “Rated R” has officially been certified Platinum in expectation of sales surpassing one million copies this month. Released in November, “Rated R” has spawned three singles, including “Hard” and “Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova).” A follow up to her mega hit album “Good Girl Gone Bad,” “Rated R” is Rihannas’s fourth studio album overall. The next single to be released from “Rated R” is purported to be “Rude Boy,” produced by StarGate.
