While there has been some controversy when it comes to Omarion in 2009, the “I Get It In” singer is looking forward to a strong 2010 as a label owner, entrepreneur and artist with freedom. “If feels amazing,” Omarion says of his new deal with EMI and forthcoming album “Ollusion”. “When you have a record company or any people that have money involved, they want input. A lot of times that can conflict with the vision, âcause you want to please them as well. EMI told me to be who I am, so I think Iâm in a position to showcase who I am as an artist.” Set to release “Ollusion” in January, Omarion candidly spoke with Sister 2 Sister Magazine for its December issue, calling his decision to part ways with both Mosley Music Group and Young Money “the best move”. “Iâm not even at my peak yet and I took my time to make sure this was the best move. I am so excited. As an entrepreneur I have Starworld Entertainment and I have my own artist. Itâs a beautiful thing. ” Led by “I Get It,” featuring Gucci Mane, Omarion’s third studio album is due in stores January 12, 2010.
