Timbaland will perform the first single from “Timbaland Presents Shock Value II” for the first time at the 37th Annual American Music Awards. Teaming up with Nelly Furtado and SoShy, Timbaland is due to perform “Morning After Dark” during the anticipated broadcast November 22 on ABC. Timbaland joins previously announced performers including Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Daughtry, Jay Z and Adam Lambert. In related news, Timbaland will release the anticipated follow up to “Timbaland Presents Shock Value,” which spawned the hits “The Way I Are” and “Give It To Me,” December 8. “I’m really proud of the caliber of artists on this album and all the work they put into making it a success. I can promise that no one has ever heard Katy Perry, The Fray, or Brandy sound like this before,” says Timbaland. “It’s exciting because not only am I giving fans the best of me on each track, I’m giving them a glimpse of their favorite artist in a completely different light. This is an album that can be listened to from start to finish every single time because each song is so unique and the range of artists so diverse. I can’t wait for my fans to hear the collaborations.” Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Chris Daughtry, Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, Drake, and Keri Hilson also appear on “Shock Value II”.
