Janet Jackson is ready for a good time and dancing on a brand new record, purported to be a buzz single for her next album (due in 2010).
"I hope u guys enjoyed us tonight. It was very special for me n' I have a very special gift for all of u," Jackson wrote via Twitter shortly after giving a performance of "Scream" during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards (see photos HERE).
Jackson's new song, titled "Make Me," features the "That's The Way Love Goes" singer belting out lyrics like "Don't stop it baby/Don't stop 'til you get it up."
While it is unclear if the song if just a one-off recording or a true single, Jackson has put the record up for streaming on her official website.
As previously reported on Singersroom, Janet Jackson is due to release a new album in early 2010. The album follows the 'Feedback' led album "Discipline" and Jackson's split from Def Jam.

I love Janet and I'll gladly buy anything she puts out.
It is a great start though, but it just doesn't make one want to play it over and over! I'm hoping that the overtly sexual S&M stuff is out of her system as well and I hope her themes and subject matter this time around will be more fun, positive and socially inspiring! I'd originally thought Jimmy & Terry produced this track because it sounds so like them with the keyboard arrangements similar to Alexander O'Neil's stuff! I would also like to see more of that contagious funk, James Brown side of Janet and hopefully Rodney Jerkins will focus on that instead of some her previous pop sounding tracks! Alot of her songs produced with Jermaine lacked the use of actual instrumentation(no horns, less guitar & more snaps, no strings, no piano, etc...) and let's hope for the return of this missing musicianship! Coming off of the well-received MJ tribute and with a new book, new album, new movie and tour, 2010 will Janet's year like 1990 was! Best of luck to Janet and bring on the funk!
This track is real decent...Janet you really wanna stick with this kinda sound...less of the S&M stuff...much respect tho...
