Chrisette Michele has been chosen as the opening act for Maxwell's anticipated tour in support of the recently released and anticipated album "Blacksummers'night".
Michele, riding high on the Billboard 200 Albums charting #1 album "Epiphany," will tour with Maxwell through fourteen cities starting July 12.
According to organizers, Michele will join Maxwell at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and ride through cities including Columbus, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Newark, Norfolk, Clearwater and Savannah before wrapping up August 31 in Miami.
Michele's album, "Epiphany," has been built on the success of its Top 10 lead single "Epiphany (I'm Leaving)," co-written by fellow Def Jam artist Ne-Yo and producer Chuck Harmony. The second single is "What You Do" (featuring Ne-Yo), featuring Pooch Hall of the CW sitcom The Game in its accompanying music video.

Maxwell is back! I found this great photo gallery with pictures from the Maxwell show last night in NYC. I wish I was there, it was one of his first shows since the release of “Blacksummers’night”, which is amazing by the way. Check out the pictures here along with an article about the show:
