Actress/Soul singer Jill Scott is happy with the recent birth of her son Jett but, with that blessing came an unexpected change. According to the former "Golden" singer, the celebrated engagement to musician Lil' John Roberts and their anticipated wedding is a thing of the past.

Wow, is all I can say. I couldn't agree more with lilkunta, john was her rebound. I love her music, but I heard she is hard to get along with. I don't know. It's just sad to see another black woman raising a child on her own. It's crazy!
Lil Kunta.. I couldnt have said it better myself. I wish her all the best but wow that whole thing from divorce to engagement to baby to now was very fast.... 
Jill became pregnant & then they got engaged, just ONE YEAR after her div from Lyzel.
Im not suprised. IMO John was the rebound guy.
Jill has just ended a 12 yr relationship w Lyzel ( 7yrs together, b4 they were married 4 5yrs from 01-07) & just 1 yr later she is pregnant & engaged.
All the best 2 her. But as Jill told us,she too needs 2 slow down.
