Chris Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos may have been denied his first motion to delay Monday’s preliminary hearing but, the noted attorney is not giving up.. In what is now his second attempt, Geragos is asking the Supreme Court to delay Brown’s case. While no decision has been made, Geragos is reportedly focused on delaying Brown’s hearing set for Monday due to an impending case that may allow access to police investigative records not otherwise attainable. The preliminary hearing, addressed by the same judge who denied Geragos’ request to delay last week, is due to feature testimony and presentation of evidence related to the alleged beating of Rihanna. As previously reported Rihanna is due to appear Monday, June 22 and will, according to attorney Donald Etra, testify. If sufficient evidence is presented during the scheduled hearing, a judge may decide take the case to trial.
