It's Jeremih's Birthday, R&B Sensation's 'Sexy' Single Rocks Billboard (Video)

Rising R&B star Jeremih has just earned an early birthday gift thanks to Billboard deeming his climbing single "Birthday Sex" this week's greatest airplay gainer.

Jeremih, reportedly working on his Def Jam debut, has been gradually moving up radio playlists with the blazing single "Birthday Sex," which now has a remix with Warner Bros/ Fo Reel singer Teairra Mari.

According to Billboard, Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" debuted on the coveted Hot 100 at no.23 Thursday.

In related news, behind the scenes footage from the video for "Birthday Sex" was just unveiled through Def Jam.

In video (below), Jeremih credits his biggest influences including Stevie Wonder, Raphael Saadiq and Kanye West who he says are artists "who not only sing music, or you know have people write music for them, because it's actually them. That's the type of music I make. I write everything and I sing it as well...and I also can play it. "
