It's Not About Chris Brown, It's All About The Music Says Ciara

When it comes to "Turntables," a song up for debate due to Chris Brown's vocals, chart climbing diva Ciara says it feels good to stay focused on the music and not controversy.
"I just love the way it sounded and it felt good to keep the focus on the music, because that's what it's really about, this record," Ciara shared after facing the public this spring like other artists, including Flo Rida, who have music with embattled singer Chris Brown.
Brown, currently facing felony assault charges in Los Angeles, recorded the song "Turntables" with Ciara before the unfortunate events that took place in February with girlfriend and Def Jam signee Rihanna.
Nonetheless, Brown's record will be on Ciara's "Fantasy Ride" album when it hits stores Tuesday, May 5 and according to Ciara is one of her favorite records on the album.
"Fantasy Ride" also features collaborative efforts with T-Pain, Justin Timberlake, Young Jeezy and Missy Elliott and includes a special deluxe edition DVD with behind the scenes footage and videos for the singles "Never Ever," "Love Sex Magic," and the 2008 cut "Go Girl".

I am not a loser, I think if the tables were turned, Chris Brown wouldn't have thought for a minute about taking Ciara's vocals off of a song of his. It's a risk in life everyday, but if we try to make others happy in the decisions we make, we will never be happy. You can't please everybody, I think Ciara realized trying to please people that are Chris Brown haters, and what feels right and sounds right is two different things. There are radio stations that still play his music, and their are artist out there that wants to record music with Chris. Not everybody is so judgemental. Music is music, Chris Brown's personal life shouldn't have anything to do with his music. If that were the case alot of artist wouldn't be recording music, and you wouldn't be hearing their music on the radio. It shouldn't be the case with Chris.
give it a break guys, at least its on the album so stop yr chitchatting
I'm a Ciara fan. I respect and
agree with her decision. That had
to be a difficult choice for her. Music
is music and Chris personal life is personal. He is human which means he make mistakes just like all of us. If we can play R. Kelly music on the radio than we should be able to do the same for Chris.
lol You two really sound like idiots. You're obviously not Ciara fans and never supported her to begin with. The statement about Turntables being the first single and not putting it out cause he's not hott now. That's so dumb! Since last year Ciara has was still recording stuff for the album, that's why it was pushed back. Believe me, if there duet was written record and done they would've put it out before Go Girl and Never Ever, DUH!!
Don't sit there and act like no other artist would've considered not keeping the record. There are other artist who completely took him off there albums. For God sake, they radios stations took poles from the PEOPLE/US to decide to play his music or not! Some stations just stopped playing his songs altogether. Why the hell should her career suffer because of a stupid mistake that somebody else made. I would've thought it over too and so would Chris if it were the other way around. I'm glad she kept it and was real with her reasoning why. Not like a lot of other brown nosers in the industry. You just want an excuss to diss Ciara. You're a very sad and hypocritical person, cause I know for a fact that both of yaw are gonna go buy her album the day it comes out, so you'll be prepared to write/blog your nasty remarks about how unoriginal she is and how much you hate her. Get a life you losers!!!
I agree with you, shau, its funny how artists are so two-faced. The fact that she considered taking him out of the song says alot about her. I think if the tables had have been turned, Chris Brown would have not even condidered taking her off of a song of he's. If it was all about the music, the thought wouldn't have even entered her mind. She knows tha Chris's vocals on the tract makes the song sound good, plain and simple. I feel like all the so-called artists that has turned their backs on Chris, better hope one day, they don't make a mistake that can cost them their careers, and other artists start turning their backs on them, they would not like it one bit. People really need to be careful about throwing stones at others, the can get back knives in return. Keep your head up Chris.
the fact that she considered changing it in the first place makes me hate her.......not because I'm a huge chris Brown fan because I know right well that if none of this had happened it would be the first video released and only cas Chris isn't whats hot now she was reconsidering it....what a complete BITCH f*** you Ciara I was going to get your album but now I'm not seeing as your obviously one of these people who do everything that sells and don't know what original means......cunt thats all you are!
