Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Fantasia highlights her love life from the beginning to the present in the intimate music video for “When I Met You.”
The romantic clip kicks off with a young Fantasia (played by her daughter Zion) in her bedroom with her BFFs as they go through the stages of puppy love. There is also a lot of imagery of her idol Whitney Houston. The clip then transitions to a classroom where Fantasia has her eye set on one boy, and she throws shade at all other suitors.
As time passes by, Tasia’s perfect guy eventually betrays her with another female, while the guy who really wanted her watched it all unfolded.
The clip later transitions to the present, showcasing a happy Fantasia marrying her husband, Kendall Taylor. Is he the guy watching?
“I met me too, when I met you,” says Tasia.
This is definitely a tear jerker!
Fantasia and Kendall said I do, again, on Christmas Day, so we’re guessing the video was shot during that time.
“I Love You so much that I’d do it over and over and over again! When I met You, I just never knew!! It’s almost like I may have known you in another life,” Tasia stated on Instagram. “Like this love has happened before and that’s how it works so well between us because we’ve been here before. So we did it AGAIN!! The right way.. so….Yes I DO #Love.”
