Legendary R&B singer Charlie Wilson takes us to church on his new single, “Blessed,” featuring rapper T.I.
“I knew God was real. I always used to pray,” Uncle Charlie testifies on the intro. “My prayer was I asked Good to not to let the Devil kill me out here when I was in the streets before I could get back.”
The inspirational and heartfelt song sees Wilson thanking the Lord while accepting his gift of life and happiness. “Blessed” is definitely an uplifting anthem, especially for those struggling in life. Rapper T.I. adds to Charlie’s message of strength and prosperity.
“Blessed” is a single from Uncle Charlie’s forthcoming album, In It To Win It, which is slated for release on February 17th. The set will also feature appearances from Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Robin Thicke, and Wiz Khalifa.
Charlie will also launch the ‘In It To Win It’ national arena tour in 2017 to support the LP.
The trek will kick off on February 8, 2017, in Norfolk, VA. Fantasia and Johnny Gill will support.
