John Legend continues to feed fans small tidbits of his forthcoming album, Darkness and Light, slated to drop on December 2.
His latest update is the set’s track listing, which features fifteen songs and includes collaborations with Chance the Rapper (‘Penthouse Floor’), Miguel (‘Overload’), and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard on the title track (‘Darkness and Light’).
“I’m so excited,” Legend stated during an appearance on Good Morning America (GMA) Friday (Nov. 4). “I think this is my best album yet and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Darkness and Light is preceded by the single, ‘Love Me Now,’ a dedication to Legend’s supermodel wife, Chrissy Teigen, who is featured on the single’s cover art. “It’s all about loving and living to the fullest, don’t wait till tomorrow,” Legend said during a Facebook Live Q&A. “Hold the people you love close to you right now.”
The upcoming visual, which you can preview below, will feature intimate moments with Legend and his family, including his six-month-old daughter Luna, as well as other diverse couples.
