Last week, it’s safe to say Solange stepped out of her sister Beyonce’s shadow when she released her critically-acclaimed album A Seat At The Table, a project that effectively sets her apart from many artists by carving a lane for her own sound and aesthetic.
It turns out, the project was three years in the making, a creative process that starting in 2013 and grew into an organically-ordained project.
