“It’s OK to ask for help along your way.”
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and Columbia, South Carolina native Jason Pure plays his part by releasing the touching song, “Wounded Soldiers.” On the record, the singer/songwriter pays homage “to all those who face daily battles with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and more.”
The accompanying clip spotlights the everyday struggles of a 17-year-old female and 34-year-old male, whom both contemplated suicide.
Instead of focusing on “trending topics,” Jason engages his audience in wholesome and reflective music. His melodies and lyrics are deeply rooted with issues that keep listeners grounded.
Kudos to Jason for this!
