San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling protest against the national anthem is catching on, not only in the NFL, but also in other (literal) arenas.
On Sunday (Sept. 11), Chris Brown participated in the Power 106 Celebrity Basketball Game at USC but he didn’t participate in standing for Tank’s rendition of the National Anthem. And on Sept. 11th? He’s sure to have ruffled even MORE feathers now.

And that’s not all, Brown got into what TMZ calls “a heated, prolonged argument with someone in the stands … intense enough for cops to get involved.”
It’s unclear what upset the singer, but the video shows Brown explaining the incident, and an USC officer can be heard saying: “I don’t care who’s here, get it straight.”
