Last we heard from nineteen-year-old Miami singer Teenear was in April when she enlisted fellow Southern Florida native Jordan Grizzle for a cover of the Meghan Trainor/John Legend duet “Like I’m Gonna Love You.”
Now she’s back with an original tune called “Streetlights,” a song of youthful romance; instead of running home at the stroke of darkness, Teenear suggests an impromptu date with her beau amid the glow of city street lamps.
“Lets make the most of tonight and dance under the streetlights,” she suggests on the fun, rhythmic track. “Let’s just give it our all,” says Teenear about the song. “Let’s dance, have fun and enjoy the moment.”
Aah, young love.
Teenear counts dancing, acting, and advocacy among her repertoire of talents, and she’s currently a full-time college student pursuing a business degree.
