It was a little over a month ago when rising R&B singer Kehlani was hospitalized for attempting “to harm herself” after being attacked on social media when people accused her of cheating on boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving with her ex, Canadian rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR.
Now she’s shared a new song called “24/7” which focuses on depression and healing emotional pain. “It’s OK to not be OK, to dive in your pain / And it’s alright to not be alright to search for your light / And it’s all good to not be all good, to feel like you shouldn’t feel any better…I don’t know nobody who smiles at everybody 24/7,” she sings on the first verse and chorus of the DZL-produced song.
