Brandy isn’t letting the legal battle with her label stop her from releasing new music.
She released this vintagely-modern single “Beggin & Pleadin” earlier this year and performed it for the first time on Black Girls Rock 2016, now the video is here and we can see the concept take life.
The clip takes place in a modern, classy speakeasy, like the 1940s landed in the new millennium. Brandy takes the stage as the club’s resident entertainment, and shortly after, the audience is on their feet with her as she confronts the object of her distressed lyrics.
To prove she’s resilient despite her musical legal battle, she tweeted, “Nothing WILL stop me!!!! I’s #HERE!!!! #BegginAndPleadinVideo”.
