M.A.C Cosmetics wants to support some of today’s rising stars!
For their “Future Forward” campaign, the cosmetic heavyweight has ushered in a group of musical beauties, who are about to blow up on the music scene to promote their new products, and in turn, shine the light on each artist for the world to see.
The artists involved in the campaign are R&B singer Tinashe, Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf, electro-pop singer-songwriter Halsey, and Lion Babe’s Jillian Hervey. Each M.A.C product coincides with each artist; for example, Tinashe has a palate of eyeshadows called “Times Nine Palette” where each shade is named after one of her songs (priced at $32). Lion Babe’s Hervey promotes the Liquidlast Liner ($21).
Each artist models the makeup for the line, as shown in the scrolling tweet below:

DeJ Loaf is promoting the lipgloss ($15), while Halsey is promoting a lipstick ($17).
About the campaign, James Gager, M.A.C’s Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director, told Billboard, “It feels like a great thing to be able to support artists who are breaking through but aren’t necessarily at the top top, to push them forward.”
Tinashe added, “I was really intrigued by the chance to bring my creative vision to this. I got to design the packaging, pick out the colors and create something that I felt like I would use.”
The products will arrive in the coming months.
This is a good look for all the ladies!
