Prince dropped his LP HITNRUN Phase One in September (titled from his latest surprise concert tour throughout the US, which he and his band 3rd Eye Girl spontaneously performed in different cities across the country), and he’s already throwing out a sequel!
Surprise! Prince announced on Twitter over the weekend the arrival of HITNRUN Phase Two, the follow-up to September’s opus.
Released on TIDAL, the 57-year-old music legend gave a link to the page where fans can listen to snippets of songs before purchasing. “Please everyone purchase the product after listening,” he tweeted.
The set is 23 songs, a continuation of the 11 tracks from the first “phase” that features the singles “Baltimore” and “Stare.”
