UK singer-songwriter Tanika goes off on the men who don’t live up to her standards on “F*ckboy” from her upcoming indie EP I Am Tanika (due later this year).
Filmed in her home district of Brixton, London, UK, the singer fiercely walks down the street in knee-high boots, black leotard and cape, cursing all men who look her way. “Everybody loves a f*ck them and f*ck you / I don’t want it no more / I don’t know what thought I saw, I don’t need another f*ckboy,” she sings on the hard-hitting, rock-infused single.
"I wanted 'Fuckboy' to be the first thing that comes out so there are no surprises on the I Am Tanika EP. I feel like an outlaw and I don't have any rules but God’s commandments. I'm not writing with any limits. And there's no fairytales over here," she says about her newfound freedom as an independent artist.
