Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Joi Tiffany offers up a smooth, jazzy number today called “Late Larry,” a song about the frustration she feels because of a tardy beau.
“This is ridiculous, you got me anticipating, and high expectations, I’m losing my patience, cause I’m waiting for you,” she sings before scatting over the jazzy production.
You may remember Joi Tiffany from her part on Stalley’s “Swangin” as the singer on the track’s Mint Condition-inspired hook, as well as her debut solo singles, “Numb” and “Next Time.”
Joi calls the sound of her self-titled EP "neosoulrock."
