That long-awaited release from JoJo looks to be drawing near.
Fans of the R&B singer-songwriter had high expectations for a new album after she inked a deal with Atlantic Records in late 2013 following a long battle to break the contract from her previous record label.
After keeping fans at bay with the mixture, #LoveJo, and songs like "Sweetest Hangover" and "Far From Heaven," it looks like the beloved singer is finally ready to release her third studio album.
To kick off promotions around the pending release, JoJo launched the "#JoJoFansFirstSweeps. "Lord. Have. Mercy. On. My. Soul. ALL THESE FEELS. #JoJoFansFirstSweeps Boston, I'll see u first- August 12th," she confirms on Twitter with the below photo, which adds, "We will be picking our top favorites from each city to be the first to hear my new music."
As far as what to expect from JoJo’s upcoming opus, she previously told ABC News, "You can expect a diverse collection of songs that help to explain me as a young woman… which isn't just girl power anthems or boy-bashing songs, but it's a wide variety of different influences."
