Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral is scheduled to take place at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia on Saturday (Aug 1.). Following the celebration of her life, she will be laid to rest next to her late mother, Whitney Houston, at Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey on Monday (Aug 3).
As previously reported, the 22-year-old passed away on Sunday (July 26th) at a hospice after months of being in a coma.
It was Jan. 31 when Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her bathtub eerily just weeks before the third anniversary of her mother Whitney’s death in much the same manner. She was then taken to North Fulton Hospital and put on a ventilator before being taken to Atlanta's Emory University Hospital and put in a medically-induced coma. In June, she was moved to the hospice center.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner released the aspiring actress' remains at approximately noon yesterday (Aug 28), after completing an autopsy to determine an official cause of death. Medical examiners plan to perform additional testing, but stated there were "no obvious underlying cause of death" and "no significant injuries were noted."
In related news, her father, R&B singer Bobby Brown has spoken about the tragic loss of he daughter. In a statement, Brown states, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable."
