T-Boz, of the legendary group TLC, has formed a new girl group to continue her legacy.
Introducing ATLA, a duo comprised of singer/dancers Ahsia and Dominae. Their name signifies that they intend to bring the A (Atlanta) to LA. Ahsia hails from North Carolina and is a former TLC background dancer, and Dominae is from Dallas, Texas and is an accomplished dancer trained in ballet, tap, jazz.
They enlist the always turnt-up sounds of Eric Bellinger for their first single “Something Real.” The song has them embracing their flaws and exuding confidence. “Look in the mirror like hallelujah, got flaws but I love what I see / Ain’t bout to trip off no imperfections, ain’t tryna change what my mama gave me,” they sing before Bellinger answers with his verse.
