After garnering huge support in the UK for more than 25 years, the Walgreens sponsored-"Red Nose Day" will make its first-ever broadcast in the U.S. on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
"Red Nose Day," an initiative that benefits children and young people in poverty, is all about fun. The upcoming live 3-hour telecast, organized by Comic Relief, will feature stand-up performances, sketch comedy, videos produced by Funny Or Die, and music performances from A-list artists.
Walgreens makes getting involved in this fun-fueled campaign easy and convenient, with red noses available for purchase at Walgreens. Noses are sold for $1, with proceeds contributed to the Red Nose Day Fund, which supports non-profit organizations that help lift children and young people out of poverty in the U.S. and overseas.
Consumers can play a major part in support of "Red Nose Day." You can share funny photos on social media wearing the red nose using the hashtag #RedNose, #Walgreens, and #promo.
A healthy smile coupled with a great cause goes a long way!
The "Red Nose Day" special will air on NBC, Thursday, May 21 (8-11 p.m. ET).
