A young power couple is no longer! Music superstars Ariana Grande and Big Sean have ended their relationship after dating eight months.
The two released a joint statement via their reps confirming the split: "They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," states the release. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
Grande, 21, and Sean, 27, had been dating since August 2014. Us Weekly reports that the two ended their relationship weeks ago due to scheduling. "They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year," says an insider.
Over a week ago, A tweet was sent from Big Sean's Twitter account to Justin Bieber, stating, "This kid is about to learn not to touch my girl like that. Beliebe that." The tweet, which was later deleted, was said to be a hack on the rappers account.
A rep told TMZ following the melee: "Justin and Sean are good friends … and that he and Ariana are just fine."
As they say, there are three sides to a story, but that's their business!
