Last week, it was revealed that Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon would sit down with TV psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw to discuss the events that led up to BK’s near-drowning and his relationship with BK’s family.
In a promo of the show (which will air on tomorrow’s March 11th episode of “Dr. Phil”), Gordon has an emotional breakdown. In tears while sitting next to his mother, Gordon says, “I miss Krissy and Whitney so much, I want them back!” He even exclaims, “I hate Bobby Brown!”
The interview turns into an intervention when Dr. Phil questions his dependency on alcohol (with reports claiming he was drunk during the interview). Dr. Phil told the Associated Press he was “clearly in an altered state of consciousness. I asked him if he was sober, and he said ‘No,'” and suggested the 25-year-old check in to rehab.
Gordon is currently under criminal investigation for BK’s near drowning, and BK’s aunt Leolah Brown- sister of R&B singer Bobby Brown- is upset with Gordon’s appearance on the Dr. Phil show. In an open letter posted to her Facebook page written for Dr. Phil, she writes “With all due respect, Nick Gordon is under investigation for attempted murder of my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kris still lies in a medically-induced coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
