R&B music fans around the world were hopeful late last year after Floetry members Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie ‘The Floacist' Stewart reunited on stage during Ambrosius' 'Friends and Lovers' tour stop at London's The Clapham Grand.
During the priceless moment, which had fans screaming at the top of their lungs, the former group members, who parted ways in 2007 to pursue their own solo careers, performed several catalog hits.
Shortly following the on stage reunion, Marsha confirmed that the group planned to extend the reunion and their legacy. “I think its perfect time for us to do it now, we’re both grown, we’ve done things outside of each other and it’s just that much easier to come back and give back,” Ambrosius states.
Now, The Floacist is expanding on Marsha’s comments, confirming that the duo is currently planning a reunion tour, which could possibly launch this spring.
“There’s a reunion [tour] coming up, Marsha and I are doing a lot of planning right now, getting things together, I say look out for us in the spring,” she tells DJ Smallz, but insist, “I don’t have any definite dates.”
The Floacist further explains the reunion, “Ultimately, it’s all for the supporters. Everything that we’ve done has been based on their support. I think it’s only right that they're able to enjoy, we’re able to enjoy; those songs scream for a bit of fresh air, fresh life.”
