R8 season may kick off during the NBA All-Star weekend on Feb. 12 in New York City.
According to the NY Post, Rihanna and her Roc Nation team are in talks over a possible huge public concert, which would shut down several busy streets in the Flatiron Pedestrian Plaza (Fifth Avenue and Broadway from 23rd to 26th streets) for several hours.
Some neighbors and business owners are already making complaints to the city, insisting the gig will be a “nightmare” and will make it “impossible” to get around.
It was not clear how much the city is being paid for the event. No deal has been reached as yet!
It’s possible that Jay Z could be taking the stage as well.
Rihanna’s last album was 2012’s Unapologetic.
