Will 2015 be the year of TLC? Just yesterday, they announced they are planning their final album funded by the fans. And today (Jan. 20), they stopped by “Good Morning America” to announce they’re also hitting the road with The New Kids on the Block and Nelly on “The Main Event” Tour.
The interesting lineup is a result from 2013, when the groups met at the Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania. “We all fell in love at that time and that’s when the ideas started to brew,” said Chilli. “When our manager called us, we were like, ‘Hell yeah.’ I think it’s a perfect combination.”
The tour is beefy with 2 dates starting on May 1st in Las Vegas and wrapping up on July 2 in Buffalo, NY. Tickets for the tour go on sale Jan. 31, and pre-sale begins Friday (Jan 23).
