If 2014 a sucky year for you, maybe 2015 will bring you “Better Days.”
The Boston, MA band Bad Rabbits have an optimistic outlook on their newest single. It’s a funky, feel-good groove about envisioning goals and a better future: “On my way to better days (better days), better days coming up / Coming up around the bend,” the chorus triumphantly declares.
They first appeared on Singersroom’s radar with their Teddy Riley-assisted, New Jack Swing infused “Dance With You,” and ever since, we’ve been keeping an eye out on the band (made up of Dua Boakye on vocals, Sheel Davé on drums, Salim Akram on guitar, Graham Masser on bass, and Santi Araujo on guitar) who infuse R&B, rock, funk for an eclectic sound that just works.
Their 2013 album American Love was followed up in 2014 their acoustic EP Dusted which acoustic covers of some of their fan favorites, and a U.K. tour.
