Mistress II is slated for November 2014.
Jay spent six years with Cash Money Records, and released two albums (2009's "All or Nothing" and 2013's "Neon") before a reported amicable split.
“I had and still maintain a great relationship with [Cash Money CEOs] Slim and Baby”, said Sean about his relationship with his ex-bosses. “They believed in me and my talent and our partnership obviously garnered a lot of pop success”.
He will now focus on making the music near and dear to his heart — R&B. "It got to the point where I was chasing pop success and ‘the smash’ when really my heart wasn’t in it anymore”, he adds. “That’s not why I got into this game."
