Indie Group Says Mariah Carey Stole Their Hook For “Thirsty”

Is Mariah Carey "Thirsty" enough to get a hit record that she would jack someone else?

According to Los Angeles indie duo Purple Crush, the 44-year-old diva allegedly stole the hook on her new single from their 2013-released song of the same name.

Taking to Instagram, the group uploaded a video a comparing the similarities to their song and Mariah’s “Thirsty.”

"I can now add Mariah Carey to the list… #youstolemyhook #thirsty #leavetheundergroundalone," wrote with the clip.

“Thirsty,” featuring rapper Rich Homie Quan, will appear on Carey’s forthcoming album, Me. I am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, set to arrive on May 27.

Check out Purple's video below and weigh in on whether they got jacked or not.
