Yesterday (April 28), Geoffrey Keating, Rihanna’s former head of security, filed a lawsuit in Dublin, Ireland against his previous superstar client for defamation, reports ContactMusic.
The suit claims that RiRi wrote "nauseatingly offensive and false statements” in an email conversation from July 2013. The alleged distasteful comments in question haven’t been made public, but Keating claims the comments damaged his reputation, making it difficult for his security business.
Keating’s lawyer Gerald Kean tells Tmz.com, "We're taking this battle very seriously. We are satisfied that the Irish Courts will see justice at the end of the day."
Keating was hired as Rihanna’s head of security for her Diamonds World Tour spanning from Fall 2012 to Summer 2013.
We all know Rihanna isn’t shy about telling people how she feels about them (hey, the singer has a history of publically coming for people on Twitter!). However, Keating isn’t stating the emails were leaked, so how can a private email exchange defame one’s character?
Sound off, Roomies!
In more lighter news (or racy if your freaky), Rihanna took off all her clothes for a recent shoot with French adult magazine Lui. In the cover photo, RiRi rocks a bucket hat and long, thick braids as she sits in a chair topless, showing her pierced nipples. The inside photos takes steamy up a notch as the pop superstar is seen with no panties with her ass in the air in one photo while others show her lounging.
So much for leaving things to our imagination… not that we don't like it!
