Chris Brown says there are a lot of political hurdles when it comes to the music industry and perhaps the release of his album, "X."
Originally due for release over the Summer, Brown's album is now in limbo, with a possible release option for later this year.
"We're trying to get the date right. It's scheduled for November right now so I'll have a chance to put out more music and people will get a chance to hear more of the stuff that's gonna be on the album," Brown said during an interview at the iHeartRadio Festival over the weekend.
Answering a question about whether releasing music and performing gets old, the "Fine China" singer went on to say that seeing fans appreciate what he worked hard to create is more important than anything.
"It's 'I gotta do it. I gotta do it.' You know, the politics and stuff. For me just going out on stage, when you hear people scream and admire the music you actually worked hard for, that's the payoff," he said.
