Tamar Braxton, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke and Miguel all have one thing in common this week. Each of them are nominated for five awards at the 2013 Soul Train Awards.

Kendrick Lamar leads the pack of nominees, earning a total of six nominations, including nods for both Song and Album of the Year.

Fresh off the release of her anticipated album, "Love and War," Tamar Braxton is up for Best New Artist, Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, Song of the Year ("Love and War"), a songwriters award and Video of the Year for "Love and War."

Overall, this year's pack of Soul Train Award nominees is impressive, with nominations also going to Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Fantasia and Brandy.
