Chris Brown showed support for slain unarmed teen Trayvon Martin Saturday, wearing a shirt with his image in Compton.
As widely reported, several events took place Saturday, protesting the verdict in the George Zimmerman murder and manslaughter trial.
Rallies took place in many major cities including New York, Miami and Atlanta, drawing thousands and included appearances from Trayvon Martin's parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.
Beyonce and Jay Z also showed support by attending the New York rally.
Speaking at the New York rally, Al Sharpton said "We are trying to change laws so that this never, ever happens again."
In related news, Chris Brown gave back via the "WE US: Walk Everywhere In Unity's Shoes" event at Roy Campanella Park in Compton.
Joining L.A. City Council mbmebers, the LAPD and youth development organizations, Brown helped to distribute sneakers to help inspire a message of unity.
"Thankful for all of the people who came together to help give back today!" Chris Brown tweeted after the event Saturday. "A big thank you to LA Deputy Mayor Cespedes, Skipp, Big U and the LAPD for making this campaign safe and successful!"
