Even if the rumors are true that her and boyfriend Chris Brown split, Rihanna still have many blessings to count. According to the RIAA, her latest album, Unapologetic, has garnered U.S. platinum certification (selling over 1 million copies). Released last November (2012), the seventh studio effort debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 238,000 copies sold in its first week. In addition, the project gave Rihanna her highest first week sales ever, surpassing her previous best frame, racked when 2010's "Loud" launched at No. 3 with 207,000 in week one sales.
'Unapologetic' birthed the hit singles "Diamonds" and "Stay," featuring Mikky Ekko, which helped the superstar secure her 10th No.1 single on the Billboard Pop Songs radio airplay chart. Rihanna currently leads in this category after being tied with pop star Katy Perry.
Congrats to Rihanna!
