Justin Timberlake has just earned a second week atop the coveted Billboard 200 albums chart.
The "Mirrors" and "Suit & Tie" singer's new album, "The 20/20 Experience," returned to the summit, following last week's major debut with over 968,000 copies sold. According to Billboard, this week the album sold a strong 318,000 copies, making it eligible for Platinum certification in just two weeks time!
"The 20/20 Experience" has sold 1.29 million — becoming the only album to sell 1 million copies this year. A week ago, "20/20" instantly became the year's biggest selling album after selling 968,000 in its first week," reports Billboard. "Mumford & Sons' "Babel" is 2013's second-biggest selling album, with 693,000 sold."
Lil Wayne and "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton join Justin in the top 3, with Wayne's "I Am Not a Human Being II" coming in at no.2.
Moving 217,000 copies, "I Am Not A Human Being II" topped Shelton's "Based On A True Story," which bowed at no.3 with 199,000 copies sold. That figure gives Shelton his best first week run to date, following 2011's "Red River Blue," which debuted at no.1 with 116,000 copies sold.
