Who knew she even had a talent agency! But LaToya Jackson has signed all three of her late brother Michael’s kids Prince, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 10, to Ja-Tail Enterprises, and their aunt Latoya acts as their manager, reportedly taking 15 percent of their royalties.
The children are the agency’s only signees so far, but it seems to be working. She helped Prince get his gig as Entertainment Tonight’s special correspondent last week, and an appearance on the CW’s remake of “Beverly Hills 90210.” Paris will be featured in the movie Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys scheduled to begin filming later this year.
LaToya’s reality show is still in the bidding process, with the OWN Network currently bidding the most with $10 million. The children are supposedly going to be a part of the reality spectacle.
An insider says LaToya saw the opportunity to swoop the kids up during the recent drama that ensued with the Jackson family, and she “pounced while everyone else was making a lot of useless noise. It was her smoke screen, and she got it done.” The insider also said she told the kids that Michael would want them to follow their dreams, “and because they were his children, they could be media and entertainment moguls….She had a blueprint. She sold it, and they bought it.”
Last fall, Latoya’s sister Janet was reportedly unhappy about Paris’ involvement in the film. No word on the thoughts of other Jackson family members.
