Philly based artists Marsha Ambrosius, Kindred The Family Soul, Jazmine Sullivan, and Musiq Soulchild helped bring awareness for missing child, Nailla Robinson, recently. An Amber Alert was sent out yesterday in Philadelphia when she was abducted from her school.
Earlier this morning, Nailla Robinson was found in a jungle gym, wearing only a t-shirt, according to Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.
Collectively, Ambrosius, Kindred, Musiq, and Sullivan were able to help bring awareness online to over 650,000 people. Jazmine Sullivan rejoiced when she heard Nailla was rescued writing, “Nailla Robinson was found safely! Thank GOD!” Ambrosius added, “FOUND! Thank God!!!” with an attached Instagram photo.
It was the late summer of 2020 when three powerful female voices rose from across the country to bring attention and awareness to an issue that has been plaguing society for years–the missing child crisis. Marsha Ambrosius, Kindred, and Jazmine Sullivan joined forces in a collaborative effort to raise awareness about this growing epidemic. With their collective voice, these beautiful artists are helping to shine a light on children who have gone missing all too often with little hope for finding them safe.
This unique collaboration is sending shockwaves throughout the music industry as well as providing much needed help in raising awareness around this critical issue. While each artist brings something special to the table, it’s clear they share one common goal: To use their platforms and influence to provide assistance where it’s desperately needed most. This isn’t just another project or performance; It’s a call-to-action!
These talented singers aren’t alone in their mission either; They have partnered up with organizations like National Center For Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) which provides resources to families and law enforcement agencies looking for lost children. Together, these inspiring women are creating powerful momentum towards addressing this difficult problem head on.
