"Who Did That to You?" by John Legend is the second offering from the upcoming motion picture soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's new film 'Django Unchained.' Last week, Maybach Music rapper Rick Ross revealed his dark contribution, the Jamie Foxx-produced "100 Black Coffins."

"Who Did That to You?" is more gritty in lyrics than what we're accustomed to from Legend, but the song showcases is smooth tone, while giving listener's a soulful and masterfully created script.
"Quentin Tarantino's movies have such a specific sound to them, where
the music plays such an important role," the Grammy winner told the LA Times. "When I first
learned that Quentin was making 'Django Unchained,' a film set in the
South two years before the Civil War, I felt a strong connection to the
story, and I knew that I wanted to write a song for it, one that would
give voice to this character Django, who was willing to stand up and
fight for his lover's honor."
He adds: "The scene where the song
plays is such a powerful moment in the film, a moment of redemption, and we wrote a triumphant and heroic song that
underscores Django's mission."
'Django Unchained' stars Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio and is a western flick shot in the Civil
War era. The film hits theaters this Christmas.
