Rihanna officially has four chart-topping albums in the UK.
According to the Official Charts Company, her latest album, “Unapologetic,” debuted at no.1 on Sunday, making it her third to do so in just three years.
That feat ties the “Diamonds” singer with Madonna.
“Congratulations to RiRi who has now equalled Queen of Pop Madonna’s chart record for female artist with the most consecutive Number 1 albums. They share this achievement with fellow solo artists Eva Cassidy, Susan Boyle, Avril Lavigne and Norah Jones,” The Official Charts Company reports.
Rihanna has also sold a strong 3 million singles in the UK to date and has become the “second biggest selling female singles artist of all time” (behind Madonna).
In related UK chart news, Alicia Keys has earned her third Top 5 record on the UK Singles Chart with “Girl On Fire.” The song is the title track from her new album, in stores now in the UK.

Rihanna has done it again! She’s released yet another top-charting album, and this time her debut single from Unapologetic is the number one song in the UK. Meanwhile, Alicia Keys continues to impress with her third consecutive hit on the chart. It’s clear that both of these incredible artists have proven themselves as forces to be reckoned with in the music industry. Let’s take a closer look at their successes and what they mean for today’s popular music scene.

It seems like Rihanna can’t do any wrong – she just keeps getting better and better with each new release! Her latest single ‘Unapologetic’ shot straight up to number 1 after its initial release, knocking off some stiff competition along the way. This isn’t surprising considering how successful past albums such as Anti have been, but it still proves that Rihanna appeals to fans of all ages and musical tastes.

Alicia Keys also deserves recognition for her impressive feat; scoring three consecutive hits on the UK charts is no easy task! Not only is she proving herself as an artist capable of creating timeless classics, but she is also showing us that there are more sides to her than we may have originally thought. With so much success already under her belt, who knows where else Alicia Keys will go?

Rihanna’s Album Accolades

Rihanna has made a triumphant return to the United Kingdom charts with her latest album ‘Unapologetic’. The singer’s seventh studio release debuted at number one, making it five consecutive albums that have topped the UK chart. It was an impressive feat considering there were two other big releases in the same week: Alicia Keys’ ‘Girl on Fire’, and Bruno Mars’ ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.

This isn’t Rihanna’s first time on top of the UK charts, as her previous six releases also each landed atop them. She is now tied with Michael Jackson for having the most consecutive No.1s by any solo artist in British music history; a remarkable achievement for someone so young. In addition to this, she has become only the sixth female artist ever to achieve seven or more number-one albums in Britain – joining Madonna, Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue, Susan Boyle and Adele in achieving such success.

Alicia Keys also enjoyed some success this week, scoring her third Top 10 album in the U.K., with Girl On Fire entering fourth place on the Official Charts Company midweek update before settling at fifth position overall upon its release date. This marks her highest career peak since 2007’s As I Am hit Number 2 spot on debut back then. With both artists enjoying great success across multiple genres and countries this year alone, it looks like they are set to continue their dominance into 2014!

Alicia Keys’ Milestone Achievement

Alicia Keys’ achievement of having her third Top 10 album in the UK is no small feat. Her fifth studio release, ‘Girl on Fire’, has been a huge hit across multiple countries and genres – with its title track being one of the biggest songs of 2012. What makes this even more impressive is that it was only released late last year, making it all the more remarkable for her to be still charting so highly now.

In addition to this success, Alicia Keys has become one of just six female artists ever to have seven or more number-one albums in Britain. This puts her alongside some hugely respected musicians such as Madonna, Spice Girls and Adele – an incredible accomplishment in itself!

Clearly Alicia Keys deserves recognition for her achievements thus far; she continues to make great music which appeals to fans around the globe, cementing herself as a strong force in modern music today. With new projects already planned for 2014, there’s every reason to expect that we’ll see even greater heights from Alicia Keys next year.

Conclusion

I. Summary of Rihanna and Alicia Keys’ Accomplishments:
Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic has debuted at the top of the UK chart, making it her fifth number one album in the country. Meanwhile, Alicia Keys has scored her third hit on the UK chart with her latest single ‘Girl On Fire’. Both artists have achieved major success in a highly competitive music market that continues to change rapidly.

II. Reflection on Their Achievements:
It is truly remarkable how both Rihanna and Alicia Keys have been able to stay relevant among their peers and remain successful for so many years. It takes hard work and dedication to continuously reinvent yourself as an artist while still maintaining your signature sound – something both Rihanna and Alicia Keys have successfully done throughout their respective careers.

III. My Final Thoughts:
As someone who deeply appreciates music from both these talented artists, I am extremely proud of what they have accomplished over the years and can’t wait to see what else they will bring us in the future! They have proven themselves time and time again that they are not only capable but also determined to make great art that resonates with listeners all around the world. Congratulations to both Rihanna and Alicia Keys!
