Dawn Richard gifts her hearts the brand new stripped down tune "On A String." Produced by longtime collaborator Druski, the former Danity Kane and Dirty Money songstress sings about breaking the shackles of a smothering lover as she belts, "Gave me a stage but you stole the lead, said I'd be much better behind the scenes, on a string, I'm off your string."

In addition to the free download, Dawn is readying a Christmas EP, a precursor to her forthcoming album Goldenheart, set to arrive January 15th.

"The Hearts asked if we were going to do another record like December Sky for Christmas," says Dawn.  "Drew and I thought why not do an entire EP?  It'll be Christmas records, but don't expect 'Chestnuts On An Open Fire'.  It's not a traditional Christmas album at all."
