There has been more drama on and off camera on "R&B Divas" and again, it involves Nicci Gilbert.
Even though she is credited as a producer, the star and designer of Curvato Clothing is not exempt from negativity.
Following a tumultuous scene on Monday's episode, Gilbert claimed she didn't know the woman that was shown (herself) yelling at the other women.
"I dont know that woman on TV ...I have NEVER MET HER," Gilbert told fans via Twitter.
While Gilbert said that and "hold my mule" trying to compose herself from reacting negatively online, someone else in her camp spoke out and said other producers were trying to depict her in a negative light. That said, an exchange of tweets went back and forth and a threat to show unedited unflattering footage was brought up.
Saying "don't go there please don't" to a fellow producer, Gilbert did not receive a warm response.
"Don't tell me what to do on my own timeline. Have a good night," said exec. producer Phil Thornton.
Despite the exchange and some wise words from Monifah ("When ur in ur feelings, u should be off of Twitter"), Nicci Gilbert says everything happens for a reason...
"I have to remember that ITS NOT ABOUT ME.Its about my friends having this platform to share their stories and uplift people..Happy bout that," said Gilbert. "God knows my heart..."
"R&B Divas" airs Monday nights at 10 p.m. on TV One.
