Toni Braxton faces money issues once again, but this time it’s not personal to her. An advertising company is suing the R&B diva for allegedly not paying for thousands of billboard ads for her hit reality tv show “Braxton Family Values”.
Advertising company National Promotions & Advertising (NPA) claims Braxton and the other producers of the WEtv show owes more that $57,000 in payments. The company alleges that they signed a contract to place 4,300 posters promoting the show around the country.
Contrary to the claims, Braxton’s rep says she doesn’t owe anything, insisting her client had nothing to do with the marketing budget of the show and said that it was up to WEtv to make the payments. Braxton’s legal team also claim the hitmaker is only an executive producer on the show and is not in charged of marketing or signs off on any contracts.
Braxton commented on the suit via twitter saying, “I don’t like being lied on! Especially about things that having nothing to do with me.”
