Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, Monifah and Keke Wyatt will be promoting positivity, music and real life issues on their forthcoming TV One series "R&B Divas."
"R&B Divas was created to help instigate balance. We are mothers, wives (and) positive women first," says Nicci Gilbert. "R&B Divas will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that we can captivate an audience without hurting them."
Slated to premiere August 20, R&B Divas will follow these women, responsible for songs like "Again," "If You Love Me," "Guess What," "Touch It," and "Nothing In This World."
"(R&B Divas) will follow them solo, together and in different combinations as they not only fight to get their lives on track but also to pay their good fortune forward. Divorce, parenting, drugs and alcohol, physical abuse and more - these ladies have survived it all and continue to deal with life’s battles each day," reports TV One.
Following the soon to premiere season of Unsung (June 25), "R&B Divas" will premiere Monday, August 20 at 10pm on TV One.
